columnas d\u00factiles en DCM y DCH, pero no hay restricci\u00f3n para DCL.<br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span class=\"colour\">Por ejemplo, en el dise\u00f1o d\u00factil de muros de cortante en <b>DCM <\/b>y <b>DCH<\/b>, seg\u00fan&nbsp;<\/span><span>EN 1998-1:2004,&nbsp;<\/span><span>Cl\u00e1usula 5.4.3.4.1(2) para DCM y Cl\u00e1usula 5.5.3.4.1(2) para DCH, la fuerza axial de dise\u00f1o normalizada&nbsp;no debe superar un porcentaje especificado de la capacidad axial te\u00f3rica del hormig\u00f3n (sin incluir la armadura), como se muestra a continuaci\u00f3n:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/desk.zoho.com\/DocsDisplay?zgId=672206093&amp;mode=inline&amp;blockId=mjtuu4b5295545f1a4d55aa7402a7aebd69b2\" style=\"padding: 0px;max-width: 100%\" \/><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"colour\">Esto significa que solo se puede utilizar el <\/span><b><span class=\"colour\">35% (DCH)<\/span><\/b><span class=\"colour\"> &amp; <\/span><b><span class=\"colour\">40% (DCM)<\/span><\/b><span class=\"colour\"> de la capacidad axial de los muros de cortante, considerando \u00fanicamente el \u00e1rea de hormig\u00f3n e ignorando la armadura.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><span class=\"colour\">Para las columnas, los l\u00edmites de la relaci\u00f3n de carga axial son <b>0.65 para DCM <\/b>y <b>0.55 para DCH<\/b>, seg\u00fan lo especificado en EN 1998-1:2004, Cl\u00e1usula 5.4.3.2.1(3) para DCM y 5.5.3.2.1(3) para DCH.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"colour\">Esto hace que&nbsp;<br \/>\n      <\/span><b><span class=\"colour\">DCL<\/span><\/b><span class=\"colour\">&nbsp;sea la opci\u00f3n de dise\u00f1o m\u00e1s pr\u00e1ctica y eficiente para zonas de sismicidad baja&nbsp; :<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"colour\"><br \/>\n     <\/span><\/div>\n<ol>\n<div><span class=\"colour\"><br \/>\n      <\/span><\/div>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc\"><font color=\"#000000\">EuroCode 8 no especifica un l\u00edmite superior de PGA (aceleraci\u00f3n m\u00e1xima del suelo) para el uso de <b>DCM<\/b>, sino que establece un l\u00edmite por debajo del cual las disposiciones de dise\u00f1o s\u00edsmico pueden ignorarse en zonas de sismicidad baja, es decir, donde&nbsp;<b>DCL<\/b> puede adoptarse.&nbsp;<br \/><\/font><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc\"><font color=\"#000000\">Los casos en que la aceleraci\u00f3n de dise\u00f1o del suelo no supera <b>0.10g <\/b>pueden considerarse de sismicidad baja, lo que permite usar el m\u00e9todo de dise\u00f1o simplificado <b>DCL<\/b>.&nbsp;<\/font><\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc\"><span class=\"colour\">La raz\u00f3n principal por la que el dise\u00f1o <b>DCL<\/b>&nbsp;resulta m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mico en zonas de sismicidad baja es que la reducci\u00f3n de la carga s\u00edsmica de dise\u00f1o permitida para DCM &amp; DCH es demasiado peque\u00f1a para compensar la dr\u00e1stica reducci\u00f3n en los l\u00edmites de capacidad axial de columna &amp; muro.&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"colour\"><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<div><span class=\"colour\"><br \/>\n      <\/span><\/div>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: disc\"><span class=\"colour\">Adem\u00e1s, para DCM &amp;
