Bangkok, Thailand | 21 October 2026
Prota Software, in collaboration with AppliCAD Public Company Limited, brought together civil and structural engineering professionals in Bangkok for the ProtaStructure Suite 2027 Official Launch, an event dedicated to the latest developments in structural engineering technology, design standards, and next-generation workflows.
The seminar provided a platform for engineers to exchange knowledge, explore the latest software innovations, next generation structural engineering workflows and discover new approaches to improving efficiency in structural analysis and design.

Strengthening Collaboration Through an MoU
A major highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AppliCAD Public Company Limited and the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. The King’s Patronage (EIT).
This partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to supporting structural engineers in Thailand through technical knowledge, professional development, and practical training opportunities.

Under this collaboration, AppliCAD will support the Engineering Institute of Thailand by providing training to the institute, helping strengthen engineering knowledge and develop the technical capabilities of structural engineering professionals. The initiative aims to promote continuous learning and wider access to modern structural engineering technologies and design practices.
The MoU marks an important step toward building closer cooperation between industry and the professional engineering community, contributing to the continued development of structural engineering expertise in Thailand.
Expert Insights into Structural Engineering
The program featured an overview of building regulations, Thai engineering standards, and seismic design requirements, presented by Assoc. Prof. Anek Siripanichgorn, President of the Engineering Institute of Thailand.
Representing Prota Software, CTO Altuğ Güler and CFO Gianni Kubin presented “Next Generation Structural Design Workflow,” sharing the company’s vision for the future of structural engineering and the ongoing development of ProtaStructure to support increasingly integrated and efficient design processes.

Introducing ProtaStructure Suite 2027
A key highlight of the event was the presentation of ProtaStructure Suite 2027, showcasing new features and workflow improvements designed to help engineers streamline structural modelling, analysis, and design.
The sessions explored developments in structural and seismic design, demonstrating how software innovation can support engineering teams in managing increasingly complex projects while improving productivity and design workflows.
Attendees also had the opportunity to explore real-world applications through the ProtaStructure Project Showcase, where users shared models and projects created with the software.

Beyond Software: The Humanware Approach
The seminar also highlighted AppliCAD’s Humanware approach, emphasizing the importance of combining advanced engineering software with expert knowledge, training, technical support, and consulting services.
Through its collaboration with Prota Software, AppliCAD continues to support engineering professionals in Thailand with the technology and expertise needed to enhance their design capabilities and achieve better project outcomes.

Looking Ahead
