ProtaStructure Training Held In Rwanda
ProtaStructure Training Held in Rwanda: Empowering Engineers with Advanced Tools
On January 19–24, 2020, Prota successfully conducted its first-ever ProtaStructure training course in Rwanda. Organized in collaboration with the highly regarded Nziziza Training Academy, this hands-on course attracted over 30 participants, ranging from structural engineers to design professionals, eager to expand their expertise in cutting-edge structural design tools and techniques.
Comprehensive Training Program
Led by Prota Africa’s Technical Support Engineer, Osayanmon Osarenkhoe, the four-day training covered a range of essential topics, including:
- Structural modeling in ProtaStructure
- Finite element analysis and code-based design
- Creation of detailed engineering reports
- Detail drawings and connections using ProtaDetails and ProtaSteel
- BIM collaboration workflows with ProtaBIM
Participants gained practical insights into how these tools can optimize workflows, enhance accuracy, and streamline design and detailing processes.
Hands-On Learning Experience
The training was designed to provide a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application. Attendees engaged in interactive sessions that allowed them to apply the concepts learned in real-time, ensuring a thorough understanding of Prota’s software suite and its benefits in addressing modern engineering challenges.
Certificates of Completion
At the conclusion of the program, participants were awarded “Certificates of Completion” by the training instructor, Osayanmon Osarenkhoe, and the CEO of Nziziza Training Academy, Mr. Alexandre Nzirorera. This recognition underscored their newly acquired skills and readiness to leverage ProtaStructure in their projects.
