Prota Attended One-To-One Meetings with DEIK In Abuja

Prota at DEIK Meetings in Abuja 2018: Strengthening Ties and Expanding Services

On August 3rd, 2018, Prota Software attended one-to-one meetings with Turkey’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) in Abuja. These meetings focused on strengthening economic ties between Turkey and Nigeria. Moreover, the committee discussed improvements in the Turkish economy, investment opportunities, and the importance of increasing countertrade between the two nations.

Engaging with Key Institutions at DEIK Meetings in Abuja 2018

During the meetings, the DEIK committee officially visited major institutions in Abuja and introduced themselves to their upper-level managers. Notable institutions visited included:

  • Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)
  • African Export – Import Bank
  • Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Turkish Embassy in Abuja

These visits were crucial in establishing meaningful connections and fostering collaboration between Turkish and Nigerian stakeholders. Furthermore, they provided an excellent platform for discussing future business opportunities.

Prota’s Business Development Manager, Gianni Kubin, shared insights about the significance of these meetings. He emphasized that, with nearly 200 million people, Nigeria is poised to become the strongest country in Africa. “The United Nations expects Nigeria to become the third-most populous country in the world by 2050,” he explained.

“As Prota, we aim to increase our services in Nigeria and contribute to the engineering sector. With DEIK’s support, we introduced ourselves to major commercial institutions in Abuja and established valuable relationships. These connections will undoubtedly help us achieve our goals in this region,” Kubin added.
