Empowering Future Engineers with ProtaStructure in University of Tetovo

ProtaStructure University of Tetovo presentation delivered an engaging and productive session, showcasing modern structural engineering solutions.

Inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers

On 23 September 2025, Prota Software brought innovation and hands-on learning to the University of Tetovo in North Macedonia. The event, hosted in the Amphitheater “Abdylselam Emini” by the Faculty of Applied Sciences, highlighted how technology is reshaping engineering education and practice. Students and faculty gathered to explore how ProtaStructure Suite supports smarter, safer, and more efficient structural design.

Expert Presentations and Insights

After the opening remarks, Prof. Sergey Churilov from “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje shared his academic perspective. He highlighted the scientific relevance of advanced structural software and explained how it helps bridge theory and practice. His contribution provided valuable context for understanding the role of ProtaStructure in both research and professional design.

The main technical presentation was given by MSc. Mustafa Tümer Tan, Product Manager at Prota Software. With over 20 years of experience in structural engineering, seismic design, and performance-based assessments, he leads the development of ProtaStructure Suite. During the session, he demonstrated how the platform enables:

• Static and seismic analysis for safer and more reliable structures.

• Modeling and dimensioning of reinforced concrete, steel, and timber elements.

• Automated reports and executive drawings ready for practical implementation.

Through live demonstrations, Mustafa Tümer Tan showed practical workflows and solutions, helping students and academics better understand how advanced software directly applies to real-world engineering challenges.

Learning, Sharing, and Connecting

The presentations sparked strong interest among attendees. Students and faculty actively participated in the live demonstration, exploring workflows from modeling to analysis and report generation. Consequently, the session became highly interactive and productive.

In addition, the discussions created opportunities for future collaboration between Prota Software and the University of Tetovo. This strengthened ties between academia and industry while inspiring students to further embrace innovation in engineering design.

This successful presentation formed part of Prota Software’s wider involvement in the MASE Symposium 2025. Moreover, it reaffirmed our support for innovation and engineering excellence across the Balkans and beyond.
