ProtaStructure CASTED 2026: A Memorable Three Days in Manila

What an incredible three days! Recently, we wrapped up ProtaStructure CASTED 2026 in Manila. Above all, the experience exceeded every expectation. From May 28 to 30, 2026, the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in Quezon City hosted the 4th International Conference on Concrete and Steel Technology, Engineering, and Design, organized by ASEP. As a result, we’re more inspired than ever about the future of structural design in the Philippines.

In this post, we’ll share the highlights from ProtaStructure at CASTED 2026. Furthermore, we’ll cover the main-stage session, the booth demos, and the conversations that mattered most. Finally, we’ll thank the incredible Philippine engineering community for such a warm welcome.

A Conference Built for the People Who Keep Buildings Standing

First of all, the ASEP conference 2026 brought together practicing engineers, academics, contractors, and technology providers under one roof. Specifically, the exhibition floor reflected just how seriously this audience takes structural design. Moreover, concrete and steel specialists, seismic isolation and bearing manufacturers, and software platforms all shared the same hall.

Indeed, the conversations moved quickly from features to real project challenges. For example, attendees wanted to discuss high-rise developments in Metro Manila, infrastructure across the archipelago, and the seismic conditions that make Philippine engineering so demanding. As a result, every booth visit felt purposeful.

For a market where local code compliance is a matter of public safety, that focus is exactly right. Therefore, we knew our trip to this Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria event would be worthwhile.

Our Booth: Prota CASTED 2026 from End to End

Our stand stayed busy throughout the event. Specifically, we set up live demos of the full Prota Software CASTED 2026 lineup, including:

  • ProtaStructure — for multi-material analysis and design
  • ProtaDetails — for automated and interactive RC detail drawings
  • ProtaSteel — for steel connection design and detailing
  • ProtaBIM — for coordinating and sharing project models

Visitors did not just watch slides. Instead, they sat down, asked questions about their own buildings, and saw how the workflow holds together from modeling through analysis to drawings. Furthermore, a good number of conversations turned directly to NSCP 2015 software support. Notably, those are always our favorite kinds of questions to get.

Moreover, the ProtaStructure Suite CASTED 2026 booth experience let attendees see how the platform performs on realistic Philippine projects. As a result, the value of integrated structural analysis software for the Philippines became immediately clear.

Taking the Main Stage: Engineering the Future of Philippine Structures

One of the clear highlights was our session on the main stage. Specifically, it was led by Nigel Watts our Prota Software Asia Managing Director, a civil engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the field. Moreover, he walked the audience through ProtaStructure working on a real model live.

Showing the software live, on a Philippine structural design problem, is the clearest way to make the case. Furthermore, having someone with three decades of structural engineering experience present the demonstration gave it real authority. As a result, the audience could see the analysis, the design checks, and the detailing flow without any marketing gloss.

The message behind the talk was simple. Specifically, Philippine engineers need software that genuinely understands the National Structural Code. In other words, they need a tool built for NSCP-compliant software workflows — not a generic platform with a code label bolted on.

Why NSCP 2015 Support Sits at the Center of ProtaStructure CASTED 2026

Prota Software became the first global company to deliver full NSCP 2015 design software support back in 2019. Notably, this milestone reflected our long-term commitment to Filipino structural engineering software users. Furthermore, it was certainly not a one-off release.

That commitment continues today. For example, we’ve refined our software for NSCP 2015 every year since launch. Moreover, the platform covers concrete and steel design, seismic analysis, wind load provisions, and detailing requirements. As a result, engineers across the country can design with full confidence in code compliance.

In addition, our development team is already preparing for the upcoming NSCP code revision. Therefore, users of NSCP 2015 structural software will have a smooth path to compliant design from day one.

Dedicated Technical Support That Makes the Difference

Just as important is the team behind the software. Specifically, we have specialists with hands-on experience in Philippine standards. In other words, they’re people who know the difference between a textbook clause and a real Quezon City high-rise.

Is your office adopting our Philippine structural design software for the first time? Or are you scaling it across a busy design team? Either way, our support is what turns a license into real results. Above all, that is what we promised attendees of ProtaStructure CASTED 2026 — and what we deliver every day.

A Trusted Philippine Structural Engineering Software Backed by 40+ Years

ProtaStructure isn’t a new arrival. In fact, Prota Software has over 40 years of industry expertise. As a result, we’ve grown alongside generations of structural engineers. Furthermore, we’ve refined our tools through real-world feedback on complex projects.

Today, firms in more than 90 countries trust our software. Specifically, they rely on it for safe, fast, and efficient structural design. Moreover, our structural engineering software for the Philippines draws on that same global engine.

What does that mean for engineers in Manila? Simply put, when you open Filipino structural engineering software like ProtaStructure, you tap into a battle-tested platform. Furthermore, it has proven itself across diverse seismic zones, building typologies, and code regimes.

ProtaStructure CASTED 2026 Recap: The Booth Experience

The exhibition floor buzzed with energy across all three days. Specifically, our team demonstrated how ProtaStructure supports several key areas:

  • Full NSCP 2015 concrete and steel design
  • Seismic analysis and wind load provisions
  • BIM-based workflows that connect design and documentation
  • Performance-Based Design for high-rise and irregular structures
  • Existing building assessment and retrofit solutions

Moreover, the ASEP CASTED conference recap from our perspective wouldn’t be complete without mentioning our fellow exhibitors. For example, we shared the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria conference floor with industry leaders working on concrete, steel, seismic isolation, and bearing technologies. As a result, the entire venue felt like a true hub of Philippine engineering innovation.

In addition, the ASEP annual conference 2026 gave us countless opportunities for direct dialogue. Specifically, attendees wanted to understand how our tools can transform their daily workflows. Above all, our team was ready to walk them through every detail.

Structural BIM Software Philippines: Bridging Design and Documentation

Modern projects demand more than analysis alone. Specifically, they require seamless coordination between design teams, drafters, and contractors. Therefore, structural BIM software Philippines engineers can rely on was a major topic at our booth.

Notably, ProtaStructure offers powerful Philippine BIM software capabilities. In other words, it connects structural design directly with documentation workflows. Moreover, BIM tools for Philippine engineers help reduce errors and accelerate delivery. For example, the BIM software for the Philippines we demonstrated supports both ProtaSteel and ProtaBIM workflows.

Proud to Support Philippine Engineers After ProtaStructure CASTED 2026

Above all, what struck us most was the ambition of Philippine engineers. For example, attendees shared project challenges ranging from earthquake-resistant high-rises to large-scale infrastructure. As a result, we left Manila genuinely inspired.

Therefore, we want to say it clearly: we’re proud to support your projects. Moreover, every line of code we write at Prota Software ultimately serves engineers like you. In other words, your success is our motivation.
