Prota Software Helps You Fly High As Seasons Go By: Busy Fall Season of Prota Software

The fall of 2022 brought a busy schedule for all of us. As Prota Software Team, we took major steps to make the all-in-one structural engineering software, ProtaStructure Fall Updates 2022, better, stronger, and faster than ever before. We released a brand-new version full of new features and handy tools, hosted multiple webinars, attended amazing events, and collected great memories. Let’s dive into the busy fall season of Prota Software!

International Events and Engagements

Fall of 2022 was also a season of international events. Earlier in the fall, we participated in one of Latin America’s most significant civil engineering events, ‘Reunión del Cemento y el Concreto PROCEMCO’22’ in Cartagena, Colombia. We were impressed by the number of visitors interested in our advanced structural engineering BIM software, ProtaStructure Fall Updates 2022. Following that, we participated in our Romanian Partner, ALLBIM Net’s special 30th Year Anniversary event in Bucharest, where Prota Software Global Business Development Manager, Gianni Kubin, and Prota Software Product Manager, Mustafa Tumer Tan, attended as keynote speakers. They introduced ProtaStructure Suite and highlighted the new features and enhancements.

Webinars and Training

As the Prota Software team, we strongly value our webinars, where we provide our users the opportunity to discover our latest capabilities with guidance from our technical experts. During this fall, we hosted more webinars on various topics such as:

• RC Beam Design and Detailing with ProtaStructure 2022
• How to Design Mat Foundations
• New Features & Powerful Tips and Tricks of ProtaStructure Suite 2022

After the latest mid-release of ProtaStructure Suite 2022, the new features and enhancements were showcased on a real model in the Structural BIM Design and Detailing with ProtaStructure Suite 2022 webinar. We also hosted another webinar in Spanish with the support of our Latin American partner.

Supporting Education and Certification

Education is key for Prota Software. Our Rwandan partner, Nziza Training Academy, and our Thai partner, AppliCAD, organized live training sessions to onboard newcomers and trial users to ProtaStructure Suite. Many passionate engineers attended these sessions and earned their official ProtaStructure Certified Professional certifications.

This year, we celebrated the new academic year by supporting future engineers through the addition of ProtaStructure Suite courses at several universities including Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy we Wrocławiu (Poland), University of Puira (Peru), Erbil Polytechnic University (Iraq), and three universities in Romania.

We also hosted a free 4-day Online Basic Training Series for our new users, covering essential tools and features of ProtaStructure Suite 2022, ProtaSteel, ProtaDetails, and ProtaBIM.

New Features and Updates

After months of hard work (and coffee!), we are proud to announce two new versions of ProtaStructure Suite 2022: v6.0.392 and v6.0.431. These versions introduce several new and useful features:

• Formwork Detail Drawings
• Insertion of Multiple Frames Between Members
• Automatic Distribution of Slab Loads on Frame Members
• Automated Hanger Links in Secondary Beam and Transfer Column Connections
• Easy Generation of Purlins and Claddings to Other Storeys
• Slab Design Status Coloring

ProtaStructure Design Awards

As we approach the end of 2022, we’re gearing up for the ProtaStructure Design Awards! Submissions have already begun, and we invite you to submit your application for a chance to gain global recognition and win exciting awards. This event celebrates innovative projects and the talented engineers behind them, focusing on designing safe structures and pushing the boundaries of structural engineering.
